Description: |
Hole one is a great starting hole. Donald Ross is known for easing into a round of golf. This straight away par 4 will not test your nerves. |
|
How to Play It: |
The longer players want to aim their tee shot up the right side of the fairway because all the balls tend to bound left and could leave you blocked out for your second shot. A good tee shot leaves the longer player under 100 yards. Shorter hitters can aim right down the middle of the fairway leaving themselves between 160-140 yards into the green. The second shot plays a little downhill to a green that will hold a well struck golf shot. The green slopes substantially back to front. We do not want to be over this green! |
